No, don't over think it and don't mull because of it. The word was apt, but not meant in a cross way.

Dear Fatmammycat,
You are so right. I should have done that. Thank you again for not exploding in a fit of rage at my liberty taking.
Ever since I read your comment I've been mulling over your word: trespass. There is something raw about it. A raw truth perhaps: do people consider their blogs to be their property? Are you trespassing on their property in much the same way you would be if you went into their house uninvited?

You know Paul, it might have been easier just to have left a comment asking me to ask Fiona to check your site out and then she could publish your post. No matter, I forgive your trespass. But please man, for the love of God, don't publish any poetry in my comments section, or haikus for that matter. I really really could not forgive that one, my dislike of poetry is well known.

Thanks Fence. I must say I was tickled by the discussion of your gender and the role that images play in forming assumpsions. I have to admit that I also thought that you were a man.
Before anything else, I register whether I'm dealing with a man or a woman. That happens to me pre-consciously. I'm glad it does because I have discovered that gender matters, even though within each gender there are huge variations, thank goodness.
I tried to post my comments on Mental Meanderings and something would not work. So I took the liberty of sending my comments to Fatmammycat. I didn't think I'd reach the relevant audience of bloggers by simply saying what I though on here.
Thanks again for reading and commenting.

Nice post.

I think you've covered most of the debate fairly well there. Men and women are different, whether that is a result of nature or nuture is up for debate I suppose, but the fact remains that gender has a large role to play.

Equal shouldn't mean the same, it should simply mean that the same oppertunities are there for all. that everyone has an equal chance, and if men and women perform in different ways, surely it makes sense to identify these differences.
