					<description>Thanks John of Dublin.  I see today's Irish Times report from Liam Horgan that people in Clonbur, Co Mayo are worried the raw sewage from their 50-year old treatment plant may be leaking into Lough Mask.

I think they should assume the worst and demand evidence to the contrary.  But it looks as if they are dependent on Galway Country Council to do something.  So I suspect they are in big trouble.
The report says the John O'Mahony, Fine Gael, saw &quot;raw sewage in the Rosshill river, just 100m from Lough Mask.
It also says that a Mayo council official said the lake water is tested regularly and &quot;is of the highest standard.&quot;
Anyone who accepts that as the end of the matter is a fool and deserves whatever comes next, I think.</description>
